Mr. Radon_^® was founded by Bob Wood in 2007 in response to the Canadian Federal Government lowering the “action levels” of Radon Gas in Canadian homes to 200 bq/m3.

Bob has been in construction for the last 30 years and is a master plumber by trade, a teacher by profession and a certified home inspector.  Most importantly Bob is one of a small group of NEHA certified Radon Gas Mitigation Specialists in Canada and is listed on the National Radon Speakers Bureau of certified speakers.

This Year the entire Mr Radon® team worked very hard to help form the Canadian Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists (CARST) Bob, Maureen, Brooks and Kyle are all founding members of this cross Canada organization and Bob was elected to the board of directors.

Bob has taught a component of a Home Inspection course and offered a Radon Technicians’ prep course at Durham College.  Bob also teaches a credit course on Radon Gas for the Toronto Real Estate Board. If you are living in the Kingston area; Brooks Gee, a certified Bio Technologist, has 10 years experience working in residential renovations and has been trained exclusively by Mr Radon® to provide mitigation services for clients living in these location. Brooks is a NEHA certified Measurement Specialist and a certified Mitigation Specialist.  

We are excited to announce that Kyle Wood is opening a branch office of Mr Radon® Inc. to serve the Ottawa area. Kyle has worked out of the Toronto office for last 4 years and is currently completing a Bachelor of Science degree at Carleton. Kyle is a NEHA certified Measurement Specialist and a certified Mitigation Specialist.
