A year later Janet’s daughter Emma joins Janet in discussing the radon testing of the daycare she owns and pleas to schools, daycares and homes to test for radon to create a safer environment for our children.

The HGTV series recently included the installation of a radon mitigation system in the home of Mike Holmes Jr. Bob Wood of Mr. Radon® had a short interview and then the sub-slab depressurization radon mitigation system was installed by the Mr. Radon’s crew. Also in a public service announcement renovation expert Mike Holmes Jr. is seen at the forefront of a radon awareness campaign.

In the U.S. their Radon Action Month is January.

As the U.S. Action Month is winding down we are reminded that:

“The EPA and the Surgeon General recommend testing all homes below the third floor for radon. The EPA also recommends testing in schools.”
